I’m tired, wrung out, homesick and here

by Heather on January 9, 2013

Things never look pretty on the other side of an international flight. Which is where we are–bewildered. But I bought some groceries, the girls are playing with the toys that were locked up and I just got a local phone call from a beloved friend.

Being here reminds me that yes, indeed, it takes a lot of bravery to move abroad. Everything seems so overwhelming: groceries, parks, just figuring out life. But it will look better tomorrow with some sleep. It will look better in a week.

While I’m waiting for that, why not check out my new post over at SheLoves Magazine? It’s all about bravery and our travel and packing boots.

Excited to follow along on your adventure, soak it up through your words and pretend that my passport didn’t expire years ago. Tell that husband of yours hello from us.
